Visiting the local dealers for véhicules occasionés might offer up a bit of a choice, and browsing the Top Annonces, Auto Scout, or Le Bon Coin if you're confident in French, but if you prefer to deal with a seller who speaks English, your choice is a bit more limited.

 

You might strike lucky and find there's someone on your local English online forum selling a suitable vehicle, or, if it's feasible, you can always pop back to the UK, bring a car over and go through the whole import / registration rigmarole - although the French authorities seem to be making this more and more difficult.
